The coining of the phrase "somebody's b*tch" can be traced back all the way to the day's of pirates and specifically the Jolly Roger. In those days, two best mates, Smee and Captain James Hook, forged a bullet proof friendship on the frontline will defending their vessel against a jumped-up little sh*t called Peter Pan.
Peter had a personal vendetta against Captain Hook, which meant Smee often fell into the role of bridesmaid, but rarely, if ever, the bride. It wouldn't have been unheard of for Smee to have to descale the mermaids himself by hand when the nets were hauled aboard.
Shirts & Giggles wanted to commemorate the life of the original "b*tch". Everyone needs a bit of 'me' time in their lives. Well, Smee needed on the odd occasion a bit of his own 'Smee' time.
